Available Visa Types for US Citizens

Main Work Routes

Work and Holiday (462)

For US citizens aged 18-30. Allows you to work and travel for up to a year. You must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

TSS Visa (482)

Temporary sponsorship by an Australian employer. Requires your occupation to be on the skilled lists and at least 2 years of work experience.

Skilled Independent (189)

Points-based permanent residency. No employer sponsor needed. Highly competitive and based on specific skills in high demand.
