Hong Kong residents (holding HK/Macao-born status or HK/Macao Permanent Residency) apply for the Entry and Exit Permit (Taiwan Pass). Key work routes include Employment Residency, the Employment Gold Card, and Professional Immigration.
For top-tier talents in Tech, Econ, Culture, etc. Open work permit for 1-3 years. Includes residency and re-entry.
For professionals with a job offer in Taiwan. Requires employer sponsorship and a work permit from the Workforce Development Agency.
For professionals (Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, etc.) with specific skills recognized in Taiwan. Leads to permanent residence.
Your Taiwanese employer applies to the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) online.
Submit application via the National Immigration Agency's online system for HK/Macao residents.
Download and print your Entry Permit. Enter Taiwan and complete registration.
Submit the application for a Resident Entry/Exit Permit (IC Card) at the local National Immigration Agency office.
