Austrian citizens have access to the Working Holiday Visa, the Employment Gold Card, and standard Work Visas. Taiwan offers a dynamic environment with specific incentives for high-level European talent.

Requires a job offer from a sponsor company in Taiwan. The company must apply for a Work Permit for the employee through the MOL.

Your host employer in Taiwan applies for the work permit from the Ministry of Labor (MOL).
Submit your Resident Visa application to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Vienna.
Enter Taiwan. Visit the National Immigration Agency (NIA) to apply for your physical ARC card.
Once ready, collect your ARC which acts as your primary ID card for health insurance and essential services in Taiwan.
